Everything Doesn't Happen Overnight

I can only tell you guys how much I needed to write about this… as I am sitting here, I am having a WHOLE moment because I am feeling sooo discouraged! I want my life to be moving sooo much faster, but it isn’t shaking at all!

Entrepreneurship – this is hard!!! Especially when you have a full-time job….there just seems like there are not enough hours in the day. #ugh And I can’t even lie I have gotten discouraged many times. Social media definitely can help and hurt… it is an amazing tool to get your message out there…of course I am using it for my promotional needs for this blog and my business, but social media will break you down real quick and make you believe that you are not doing a good job in your business or heck life in general…

Then I got a fresh reminder from my Dad:

“Lauren, everything doesn’t happen overnight.”

Social media and with things trending… makes us all to believe that in some capacity that when we put something out to the world, BAM it will be a hit! That is not how life happens, well for the most part – there are those chances. And I think we all hold on to them believe that we just do a little and then we will be a hit. No there is one fundamental element that rarely gets talked about….HARD WORK!! There are countless nights that goes into making your dreams come true! I definitely appreciate entrepreneurs like Ashley Ann who constantly lets her followers know, she has been working as an Entrepreneur for years. I am a recent follower and so happy to see her consistent glow up and inspires me in so many ways.

So, I sit back and think… and have heard clearer and clearer – Lauren it is time to put in the WORK! No more lazy days. I won’t say lazy… I have had ‘resting’ days. I needed rest and clarity and I am so clear on the direction I see for my life.

And when it comes back to my entrepreneurship goals… I am recommitting… I can admit I didn’t exactly understand what I was getting myself into with trying to manage multiple careers… family…friends….a relationship and other life commitments. I haven’t managed them all the best, but I have learned over the last year what I can and can’t do.

Remember things do not happen overnight… all you can do it focus on the right now and how you will set up yourself up for the future. Are you ready to recommit if you fell off? I pray you said YES because it’s time to RECOMMIT together! Yes, it doesn’t happen overnight but what you do today will set you up for success tomorrow!
