The Speak Up La Show
IS HERE!

What would you create if you only got one shot?

This is the question I asked myself after I got  the phone call that changed my life which told me I was going to make a TV show! But - one issue - I had never done this before! So I asked myself  - what would I do, build, create, if I only got one shot? Well , what you see in the Speak Up La Show is just that!

This show was created to celebrate Black Excellence in real time. I am so thankful to be connected to so many amazing people. So I called up a ton of friends and asked them to join me to tell their life stories. We talk about our HBCU journeys to how so many have been so resilient in their respective career fields. The show showcases countless entrepreneurs, Doctors and more. This is a show you don't want to miss. I am sure you will learn and be inspired by listening to these amazing individuals. This show is truly my baby and something I poured my heart & soul into. Make sure to subscribe today to stay in the know!

I DID NOT DO THIS ALONE!

Meet the faces behind who made this production happen! To the ones sharing the screen with me to the those who made sure I looked glam for the screen! The show would not be a show without them!

What is something unique about this show?

The show was filmed on some Historically Black College & Universities (HBCU) campuses! Yes that is right - some of our filming took place on the beautiful

HBCU Campuses.

Check out the behind the scenes photo gallery! We has so much fun filming and it shows!

Why did you decide to be apart of this show?

“I love what Speak Up La stands for, and I am in complete support. It is so important now, more than ever, to illuminate people of color who are entrepreneurs, HBCU graduates, and professional trailblazers.

The African American community is grossly underrepresented when it comes to business ownership, so I am uber-motivated to succeed in order to be an example to my community and the younger generation that we can accomplish anything.

This production is so awesome, because it will shine the light on successful Black men and women from different (yet connected) backgrounds who can be an inspiration to our underrepresented communities.”
