When I first meet people I always say, "I am Midwest Born, West Coast Raised and Southern Made."
Born right outside of Chicago in Evanston, IL to growing up in Hawaii and California to being 'made' in the South attending two Illustrious HBCU institutions - Fisk University for undergrad and Clark Atlanta University for my MBA - I am a pretty well-rounded individual whose goal daily is to live and love life!
I created this platform, Speak Up La, to have a place where I can do what I love in various forms. Be it consulting individuals & businesses, to blogging about a new travel destination, podcasting about life lessons, advocating and advancing diverse businesses to creating a TV Show that shines a light on successful Black individuals! I do quite a bit!
